Villa Taranto
The gardens of Villa Taranto, considered among the most beautiful in the world, host about 1,000 plants on an area of 160,000 m2.
The floral species present are manifold and come from all over the world, among the rare species and you can find the large water lilies (cultivated in tropical greenhouses), conifers, ferns and rubias.

Villa Pallavicino
Among the main tourist attractions of Lake Maggiore, together with the Borromean Islands and the gardens of Villa Taranto, Villa Pallavicino has always been a strong point for the family and school group thanks to the presence of animals inside the park like: fawns, llamas, Tibetan goats and up to the colorful parrots.
The villa, with 15 hectares of park, was sold by the Duke of Vallombrosa to the Pallavicino family in 1862, and 61 years open to the public, has recently been restored and reopened to the public thanks to the passage of the villa under the management of the Borromeo family who have entered Villa Pallavicino within the circuit of the gardens, of which Bella Island and Mother Island are two of the top attractions.

Mottarone
The Mottarone, despite being among the lowest mountain peaks in the Alps, overlooks a spectacular panorama. Waterfall of Toce
In the heart of Val Formazza, here is the Toce waterfall, which at 1675 meters above sea level is the second highest waterfall in Europe, with its 143 meter waterfall and the highest front at the base, of 60 meters.
